Dansville, NY to Niagara Falls, NY

We left the Laffords in Dansville shortly after Rick left for work. Along the way, we decided we needed haircuts since the last one was way back in Little Rock, AR. Checking on our GPS, we located a Supercuts in Rochester, NY. Our friend Susan in Orange County cuts our hair in her home during the monthly trip there to Richard's office. We are used to good haircuts because of her. We selected Supercuts because we didn't know where else to go, and because we did get a good haircut at the Supercuts in Little Rock. Well, it didn't turn out well, especially for Steve. Despite telling the woman cutting his hair that he only wanted a "trim," he basically got sort of scalped! Not happy at all! You might not see his picture on here for awhile without a cap on his head. Leaving Rochester, we pulled off the highway and had a relaxing lunch in the RV alongside Lake Ontario. Traveling down Lake Ontario Parkway, we arrived at Four Mile Creek State Park mid-afternoon. There had been a tremendous amount of rain the day before during the thunderstorms mentioned in yesterday's post. As a result of the rain, most of the available sites in the campground had ponds of water. So, we selected a gravel site and set up camp. Later, we threw the ball for Tinsel to fetch since she hadn't had any exercise since yesterday. We also saw a beautiful sunset on Lake Ontario. Photo. We could also see a bit of the Toronto, Canada skyline in the distance across the lake about 30 miles. Photo
