Greenwood, IN to Dayton, Ohio

PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO VIEW OLDER BLOGS FROM THIS TRIP, SCROLL DOWN TO THE EARLIEST BLOG ON THE MAIN PAGE AND CLICK ON "OLDER POSTS." Last night, we went to dinner with Katie and Sam (Katie is a second cousin to Richard). For dessert we had a delicious blueberry pie (Steve's favorite). The blueberries were from northern Michigan, where Steve's parents were born. We hope to make it there on this trip, as Steve swears that blueberries from northern Michigan are the best. Also, Cornish pasties...more about that on a later blog. Photo of Katie and Sam to the right. This morning, we left John and Angela's home (it was GREAT to stay in a "real" bed!!) The bed in the RV is ok, but not the best by any means. Anyway, we drove back to Dayton, Ohio to spend one more evening with Uncle Ray and Aunt Roddy, cousin Jeanne and husband Ted. Ray was doing much better than the last visit, he still didn't recognize us, but fortunately he did not think we were "trying to buy his house out from under him. Photo to the right. It rained very hard the entire way to Dayton. It didn't help that I70 is heavily traveled by semi trucks. We tried to make an appointment at a Ford dealer in Dayton for an oil and transmission fluid change, but were not able to do so. We did find a dealer in Columbus, Ohio so we will head there tomorrow on our way further east.
